You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf. This much-quoted saying about meditation refers to the waves of thoughts in your mind.
If your mind is restless and you can’t focus, meditation is a wonderful way to build your concentration skills and develop techniques for living in the present moment.
A regular meditation practice can also –
– improve your health and overall quality of life
– reduce anxiety and depression
– strengthen the ability to cope with stress in everyday life
