Mindfulness Meditation & More

Roberta Weiner heartbeat of holliston

Mindfulness is all around, so much so that the topic attracted more than 30 people to the library last week. Most had never tried meditation and the consensus was “we want more.”

Coincidentally, I was asked to talk about Meditation on Holliston’s own news show for a February program on Love. I led a segment on Lovingkindness Meditation (haven’t seen it – filmed in front of a green screen so the background will be a surprise to me, or maybe I will be levitating!).

We already have monthly meditation the first Wednesday of each month with Mary Starr Green (in February, that’s this Wednesday, Feb. 4, 7-8:15 pm including Yoga, $15 drop-in). Also this week, we are hosting a Women’s Art Forum with meditation and poetry, this Thursday, Feb. 5 at 7:30 ($5 donation at the door). PLUS – I’m planning to start a monthly Meditation Circle – details to come!
